WhatsApp Policy
Responsible WhatsApp automation for customer conversations.
Wazent is built around the official Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Businesses using Wazent must respect customer consent, message quality, opt-outs, and Meta policies.
Use official channels
Wazent works with Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API credentials configured by the business.
Respect opt-outs
Businesses should stop messaging customers who withdraw consent or ask not to receive messages.
Avoid spam
Bulk broadcasts, templates, and automations must be relevant, expected, and compliant with Meta rules.
Customer consent
Businesses using Wazent must have appropriate permission to message customers. This includes respecting local laws, customer expectations, and Meta WhatsApp Business requirements.
Do not upload or message purchased, scraped, or unauthorized contact lists through Wazent.
Message quality
Messages should be useful, accurate, and related to the customer relationship. Avoid misleading offers, impersonation, aggressive follow-ups, or content that violates Meta policies.
Broadcasts should be sent carefully to relevant audiences. High complaint rates may affect WhatsApp quality and account status.
Templates and broadcasts
WhatsApp template approval is managed by Meta. Wazent can help submit and organize templates, but Meta decides whether templates are approved.
Businesses are responsible for template wording, campaign audience, opt-out handling, and compliance with policy restrictions.
Account safety
Do not share Meta access tokens, app secrets, webhook verify tokens, or Wazent credentials publicly.
If you believe your WhatsApp or Wazent account is compromised, contact support and rotate relevant credentials immediately.
